Four D-47 Schools to Receive Funding to Combat Poverty

In total, the district received $534,000 in federal funding, according to the Northwest Herald.

District 47 will receive $534,000 in federal funding to help fight poverty with $368,000 being distributed to four schools and the rest earmarked for specific programs, according to the Northwest Herald. 

Coventry School will receive the most, $112,000, with Canterbury, North and Indian Prairie elementary schools also expected to receive funding, according to the article.
