Crystal Lake Teen Arrested for Death Threats of Harvard High Students

A 19-year-old Crystal Lake man was arrested Friday and charged with felony disorderly conduct after police said he used social media to threaten "to shoot 20 unnamed students at Harvard High School," according to the Northwest Herald. 

Trevor A. Pllz was arrested Friday after high school personnel notified police about the threat, according to the article. Police said they are continuing to investigate the situation and have not yet determined the "seriousness of the threat," according to the Northwest Herald. 

According to Plitz's public Facebook page, he lives in Crystal Lake and attended Woodstock High School but is from Harvard. He posted a threatening message on Jan. 26 on his personal Facebook page regarding a group of kids just signing "their death certificates."

Pilz was slated to be in court at 8 a.m. Saturday for a hearing.
