The Crystal Lake South Gators Hockey Club took time on Sunday night between junior varsity and varsity matchups with Libertyville to honor its senior players.
Nine players from the class of 2013 were recognized by the club, family and spectators at the CLS Gators home rink, the Leafs Ice Centre in West Dundee.
Seniors include Matt Allen, Trevor Price, Jake Bigos, Vince Petralia, Brennan Edwards, Jeremy Ponce, Austin Wiggerman, Jim McSweeney and Jack Scott.
Bigos, a forward and captain of the varsity team, is the leading scorer in the Illinois High School Hockey League with 32 goals, 24 assists and 56 points to date, according to the IHSHL stats.
