Cary-Grove Community High School Makes Best Schools List
U.S. News & World Reports released its Best Public High School rankings today.
Cary-Grove Community High School is among one of the best public high schools in Illinois, according to rankings released today by U.S. News & World Report.
Cary-Grove High School ranked 50th in the state, according to the rankings.
U.S. News analyzes data from the 2010-2011 school year from more than 21,000 schools located in 49 states and the District of Columbia to determine the rankings.

Nationally, the school came in as the 1,414th top school in the country. The school ranked above the state average for college readiness and math and reading proficiency though its student-to-teacher ratio, which was 18 students for every one teacher, was larger than the state average, according to the rankings.

The rankings were achieved in conjunction with the American Institutes for Research (AIR), which according to the U.S. News website, is one of the largest behavioral and social science research organizations in the world.
