Cary 26 Education Foundation is hosting the event Oct. 20, and one school could win an extra $1,000.

 

The Cary 26 Education Foundation along with BMO Harris Bank and Cody Chiropractic Wellness Center, is hosting a "Blues, Brews & BBQ Benefit" on Oct. 20.

Attendance will be taken and the school with the most attendees will win $1,000 from the Foundation!

Attendees will revel in live music by Chicago blues band "Blue Road," nosh on traditional barbecue fare and have the opportunity to participate in a live auction and raffle.

Featured items include the opportunity to ride to school on a Cary Fire Department fire truck, a tasting for 10 people at Bonefish Grill in Algonquin, a dinner cruise for two aboard the Spirit of Chicago, and Paul Konerko signed baseball among others. 

The Cary 26 Education Foundation is proud to sponsor community and school-related events like the Cary Shuffle 5K and Battle of the Books. Since 2004, the Foundation has been supporting classroom students and teachers through its grants program including the purchase of technology, guided reading books, word prediction software, math stations, poetry and more.
