Huntley:
Traffic has been switched onto the new pavement on Route 47 between Del Webb Blvd. and Big Timber Road and crews will now start removing the existing bridge.
Removing the structure is underway and will continue through Jan. 18, according to the village’s website.
This week, the lighting foundation will be installed on Route 47. Underground electrical work for the plazas is ongoing.
The village reminds motorists to drive carefully in construction zones.
