If approved, a development plan would still need to be given the green light by the Lake in the Hills planning and zoning commission and village board prior to construction, according to village of LITH documents.

The property is the former site of the Crystal Highlands Golf Course and the Crystal Lake Park District will purchase the property from owner Sara Wirkus for $625,000, according to the Northwest Herald.
