County's Emergency Management Agency to Assess Flood Damage

McHenry County Department of Transportation representatives will escort flood damage assessment teams.

Six damage assessment teams have been deployed by McHenry County Emergency Management Agency to areas in the county dealing with flooding.

McHenry County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) is escorting these teams in their orange, or white full size pickup trucks. Each team will have credentials from McHenry County, or IEMA, according to a MCDOT press release.

The attached link has additional information on resources for those affected by the flooding McHenry County has experienced.

As some residents are looking to start repairs, it is important to be aware of "scammers" that may come into the area.
