McHenry County Board Results - District 3 (Republican)

In a very tight race, Mary McClellan edged out Mary Donner by 49 votes to grab the fourth spot in the race for the Republican side of the McHenry County Board District 3.

Unless the provisional and late absentee ballots give Donner a huge boost, McClellan will join Joseph Gottemoller, Nick Provenzano and Michael Walkup on the Republican ticket for the McHenry County Board District 3.

Eight candidates were vying for four seats in the race.

Jim Schlader

Michael Walkup

Election night updates:

With seven of 41 precincts reporting, the top four are Gottemoller, Provenzano, Walkup and McClellan, although Donner trailed McClellan by just one vote.

UPDATE: 9:27 p.m.

With 32 of 41 precincts reporting, the top four are now Gottemoller, Provenzano, Walkup and Donner, although Donner only leads McClellan by 30  votes.
