Illinois State Rep. 52nd District: McSweeney Leads with 40 Percent of Vote

A three-way race is brewing in the 52nd House District. Incumbent Kent Gaffney and contenders David McSweeney and Danielle Rowe are all vying to represent the Republican Party in the November election.

The 52nd district has a wide reach, representing parts of Lake, Cook and Kane counties, which includes parts of Cary, Algonquin and Lake in the Hills.

On March 20, 2012, Republican voters will be asked to choose one candidate to face their Democratic challenger.
