Are you and your pooch looking for a howlin' good time?
Then run over to Lippold Park from 2 to 4 p.m. this Sunday, for the annual Hound Town Halloween Bash hosted by the Crystal Lake Park District.
Dress your beloved cannine in his or her Halloween costume, and join in the afternoon of fun and "doggy trick-or-treating."
Pet owners are welcome to bring treats to share with all the furry, four-footed attendees.
No registration is required for this free event, and everyone is welcome. Party guests do not need a Hound Town membership to join in this ghoulish good time, according to Jenny Leech, public information coordinator for the park district.
More than 15 animal-related businesses and organizations will be on the site distributing Halloween treats for dogs and their human counterparts.
Lippold Park is located on Route 176 just west of Route 14 in Crystal Lake. Bash guests should enter through the first entrance west of Route 14, and park in the first lot. Once there, follow the Hound Town signs.
