Eat delicious noodles, and help the Cary Area Public Library at the same time.

Noodles & Co. will host a dine-and-share fundraiser from noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, benefitting the Friends of the Cary Area Library (FOCAL).

Patrons are encouraged to stop by Noodles & Co., 4912 Route 14, Crystal Lake, and enjoy a meal.

FOCAL will receive 25 percent of the sales totals from the specified time period when customers tell cashiers they are dining for the Cary Area Public Library. Be sure to say you’re supporting FOCAL & the Cary Library before you place your order.

Cary Area Library Fall Used Book Sale

“The FOCAL Fall Used Book Sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, and from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, at the Cary Area Library, 1606 Three Oaks Rd., Cary.

"There will be something for everyone, and bargains galore," said Alice M. Majka, of the library's Youth Services Department.

"Books, videos (VHS and DVD), music, audiobooks and more will be priced to sell. A whole room full of children’s material will also be available for purchase. Come early and bring a friend!”
