Crystal Lake Park District Hosts Half Marathon
The 13.1- mile race starts at 8 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, at Lippold Park in Crystal Lake.
The is hosting the 16th Annual Half Marathon this Sunday that starts at 8 a.m. in Lippold Park in Crystal Lake.
The 13.1 race will take runners along the paths of beautiful Lippold Park, located at 800 Route 176, and through parts of and Lakewood.

Awards will be given to first, second, and third place finishers for males and females in each age division; and overall male and female winner.
Long sleeve tech shirts will be provided to all pre-registered runners. Water and Gatorade available along the course.

For this race, the Crystal Lake Park District offers Clysdale and Athena race divisions allowing all competitors to be recognized for their efforts.
This is a USTA certified course. No walkers please. A three-hour course time limit will be strictly enforced.
