Crystal Lake Hosts Centennial Logo Contest

Logo will be used to promote the city's centennial celebrations planned from Sept. 23, 2013, to Sept. 23, 2014.

 

The City of Crystal Lake Centennial Committee is hosting a logo contest.

The committee and Crystal Lake City Council want to see your ideas for a bold and distinctive centennial logo. You don't need to be an artist to participate....you just need a good idea.

Crystal Lake will celebrate its 100th anniversary of incorporation on Sept. 23, 2014, and the Centennial Committee has already been hard at work developing, supporting and implementing plans to commemorate this special occasion.

The Centennial Committee's mission is to educate, celebrate and commemorate the 100th anniversary of the city. The committee is in the midst of planning many special celebrations to honor the city's unique past and usher in the next 100 years of its extraordinary future.

Four contest finalists will receive a $100 "I Shop Crystal Lake" gift certificate.

The winner of the Centennial Logo Contest also will receive a $100 "I Shop Crystal Lake" gift certificate and recognition as a creative partner in any new logo reveal publications.

The winning logo will be used for a myriad of purposes such as banners, patches, promotional items and advertising.
