CL Park District Petition Packets Available, Five Seats Up for Re-Election

Residents of the Crystal Lake Park District can pick up petition packets now.

 

Petition packets are now available for five commissioner posts up for re-election this spring for the Crystal Lake Park District Board.

Anyone wanting to run for a commissioner seat in the April 9, 2013 election can pick up a petition packet at the Crystal Lake Park District administrative office, 1 E. Crystal Lake Ave., Crystal Lake.

Of the five positions due for re-election, four commissioner posts carry four-year terms and one seat carries a two-year term, according to a press release issued by the Crystal Lake Park District.

The filing period for the spring election is December 17-24, 2012.

Candidates must be a resident of the Crystal Lake Park District and have resided in the district for at least one year. More information is available by contacting Jason Herbster, executive director for the park district, at 815-459-0680, ext. 203.
