Cary Village Board to Hold Meeting to Discuss Allowing Video Gaming

Village Board will hold a special meeting on Oct. 29 to discuss the possibility of allowing video gaming in local establishments.

The Village of Cary will hold a special meeting Oct. 29, to discuss allowing video gaming at local bars and restaurants, the Northwest Herald reports. The meeting will be held at Cary Village Hall, 655 Village Hall Dr., Cary.

Following the discussion, Village Board members may vote on the matter, the Herald reports. The Cary Village Board voted to ban video gambling in 2010. The games would provide the Cary with a share of the gambling proceeds; however, a village official told the Herald the money generated by the games would be minimal.
