Cary Looks to Fill Open Seat on Board of Zoning, Planning and Appeals

Applications for a open seat on the Board of Zoning, Planning and Appeals is now available.

Mayor Tom Kierna is accepting applications for an open seat on the Board of Zoning, Planning and Appeals until 5 p.m., Aug. 19.

"Cary currently has an outstanding ZPA Board and it will be my goal to appoint an individual who will work productively and enthusiastically with our existing appointed officials and staff," Mayor Kierna said in a village email. 

Members serving on the board now includes, chairman Joe Tournier, Jim Graziano, Frank O’Laughlin, Patrick Jasper, Patrick Khoury and Holly Kelps.

The Board of Zoning, Planning and Appeals acts as a recommending body to the Village Board, Jacob Rife, Assistant to the Village Administrator said. 

The board meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
