Camp Algonquin Buildings to be Demolished

The McHenry County Conservation District is developing a master plan for the former Camp Algonquin site.

Six of the 12 buildings located on the former Camp Algonquin site will be demolished, according to the Northwest Herald. 

The McHenry County Conservation District's board made the decision to raze the buildings, which have not been used for years, as it continues to develop a master plan for the former Camp Algonquin site and the Fox Bluff Conservation Area, according to the Northwest Herald.
