Woodstock Men Arrested for Selling Pot, $8K of Marijuana Seized

Cesar Flores, 20, and an 18-year-old Woodstock juvenile were both arrested and charged with drug-related offenses.

 

Two Woodstock men - one a juvenile - were arrested on Thursday on drug-related charges, according to McHenry County Sheriff Keith Nygren.

Sheriff's officers were conducting an undercover narcotics investigation involving the sale of marijuana, Nygren stated in a press release.

On January 10, sheriff police arrested two men, one a juvenile, in the 1200 block of E. Lake Street, Woodstock, after the they were seen conducting a narcotics transaction, Nygren said.

Cesar Flores, 20, 614 Barbary Ln., Woodstock, was arrested and charged with two counts of unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, two counts unlawful possession of cannabis and one count unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bond for Flores was set at $25,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 15. 

An 18-year-old Woodstock juvenile also was arrested and charged with one count unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver and one count unlawful possession of cannabis. His bond was set at $20,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 15.

Sheriff’s deputies seized approximately 475 grams of cannabis, a pipe, one scale, packaging material and $440 in cash, Nygren said.

Nygren estimated the street value of the narcotics seized in this investigation to be about $8,300.
