Women Start Hair Pulling Over Accident

The fight happened at the intersection of Algonquin and Randall roads Friday morning.

were called to break up a fight between two women Friday morning at Algonquin and Randall roads.

At about 9 a.m. a 29-year-old woman and a 30-year-old woman began pulling each other's hair after arguing over who caused a minor accident at the intersection, police said.

Both vehicles were westbound on Algonquin Road and both were attempting to make a left-turn onto South Randall Road, when one car stopped in front of the other during a yellow light, causing the cars to bump, said Deputy Chief Steve Kuzynowski.

The women got out of their vehicles and began to argue over who caused the minor accident, which led to a physical altercation. Kuzynowski said there were no injuries or witnesses to verify who started the fight, so no charges were filed.

There was no damage to either vehicle.
