UPDATE: Volo Woman and Her Children Found in Wisconsin Dells

Aneta M. Marsek and her two children had been missing since Oct. 6 and were classified as endangered by the Lake County Sheriff's office.

Missing Volo mom Aneta M. Marsek and her two children were located in the Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin on Sunday. More information is expected to be forthcoming.

The Fox Lake Fire Department is searching retention ponds in the area of Aneta M. Marsek's home in Volo.

Aerial searches are also being conducted by the Illinois State Police and Law Enforcement Aviation, according to a media release from the Lake County Sheriff's Office.  

"Every available resource [is being used] in an attempt to locate Aneta and her children.  Under the direction of Sheriff Mark Curran, all available personnel assigned to this case will be working around the clock until there is a successful resolution," the release stated.   

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NECMC) has sent out more than 9,000 faxes distributing the flyer of the missing children and their mother.  NECMC also sent out an alert to truck drivers in Illinois as well as Missouri, Kentucky, Indiana, Wisconsin and Iowa. 

NECMC has also provided the LCSO with a member of “Team Adam." Retired Chicago Police Officer John Laskey,  a consultant for NECMC, is on location at the Sheriff’s Office working side by side with detectives on the case. Laskey has an extensive background in locating missing persons.

The Lake County Sheriff's Department is seeking information on the whereabouts of Aneta M. Marsek, 33, of Volo and her two children, 2-year-old Chevelle and Macenzie who is four months old.

The three have not been seen or heard from since Oct. 6 at roughly 7 p.m. when they left Marsek's parents' home in Wauconda. 

The woman and her children were reported missing by her estranged husband, Dan Marsek. 

Aneta Marsek is described as a white female, standing 5 foot 10 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Chevelle Marsek is described as a white female, standing 30 inches tall and weighing 30 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. 

Macenzie Marsek is described as a white female infant who is 28 inches long and weighs 25 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. 

The vehicle Anita Marsek was driving at the time of the disappearance is a black Chevrolet Trailblazer, Illinois Registration: CZAJA28. It may have rear bumper damage from a recent accident.
