White, whose last known address was 754 West Bode Circle, #106, Hoffman Estates, was arrested without incident in Schaumburg on Thursday, FBI announced in a statement released Friday.

According to the FBI, White was arrested without incident following the filing of a criminal complaint in U. S. District Court Nov. 15. White was charged with one count of Bank Robbery, a felony offense, in connection with the Nov. 9 robbery of a Harris Bank in Park Ridge.

According to the complaint, White entered the Harris Bank branch in Park Ridge on Nov. 9, presented a note to a teller announcing a robbery and left the bank with money given to him by the teller.

The complaint alleges the person shown in bank surveillance photos from the Harris Bank robbery bore a resemblance to the robber of two other banks, the first being the TCF Bank branch in Rolling Meadows, which was robbed on Oct. 26, and the other being the Popular Community Bank branch in Chicago, which was robbed on Nov. 5.

Identified by images captured on bank surveillance cameras, the FBI released White's name in late November. Considered “armed and dangerous,” the FBI offered a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the 34-year-old's arrest.

According to the FBI, those surveillance photos and additional investigation led to the identification of White, the filing of the charge against him and his capture Friday.

White appeared in U.S. District Court in Chicago Friday, at which time he was formally charged.  White remains in federal custody pending his next court appearance, which has not yet been scheduled.

If convicted of the charge filed against him, White faces a possible maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.

Arrested for one bank robbery, the FBI stated, White is still suspected of robbing five other banks in the Chicagoland area.

While not charged, White is also suspected of committing three additional robberies, including the Black Friday robbery at Glenview State Bank in Arlington Heights.

Referred to as "non-takeover robberies," White is suspected of robbing a total of six banks over the course of about five weeks.
