Two Escape From Fiery Crash
An SUV hit a guardrail, rolled over and became engulfed in flames early Thursday.
Two men are lucky to be alive after the car they were in struck a guardrail, rolled over and became engulfed in flames.
The Lake County Sheriff's Department responded to the accident about 3:15 a.m. Thursday on Rollins Road west of Route 45.

According to the release, a black Mercedes SUV traveling eastbound on Rollins Road (west of Route 45) struck a guard rail on the north side of the road. The vehicle overturned once and became engulfed in flames.
The driver, Justin Schulze, 23, of the 18000 Block of Lindenwood Dr., Wildwood,and passenger John Bruhn, 29, unknown address, were able to exit the vehicle.

The two were transported to Condell Hospital. Bruhn’s injuries include an amputated foot and broken ribs. Schulze suffered minor injuries.
The accident is under investigation to determine if there were any contributing factors to the cause.
