UPDATE: 3 Car Accidents in CL; Car vs. Pedestrian at Walmart; Power Outage at MCC

Report said pedestrian is under the car at Walmart in Crystal Lake.

There were two car collisions reported, and one car vs. pedestrian accident between 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. At the same time, a power outage was reported at McHenry County College and the surrounding area.

UPDATE: 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30
There is now a report of a third car collision near Route 14 and McHenry Ave. in Crystal Lake. 

Witnesses at the scene report that one of the vehicles involved in this collision fled the scene. Anyone who may have witnessed this accident and/ or the fleeing vehicle should contact the Crystal Lake Police Department. 

Also, a power outage is reported at McHenry County College on Route 14 in Crystal Lake. Motorists may want to avoid that area, if possible, as the traffic signals are out, too, according to Lake & McHenry Scanner.

Plus, according to Lake & McHenry Scanner, there is one person trapped in the MCC elevator due to the lack of power.

There is one report at 6:05 p.m. of a car accident near the 200 block of Route 14 in Crystal Lake (just north of Dole Avenue). Emergency personnel are responding, according to Lake & McHenry Scanner. 

There is a second report at 6:08 p.m. of a car vs. pedestrian accident at Walmart, 1205 S. Route 31, in Crystal Lake. Emergency workers are responding, according to the same source.
