Sex Offender Evaluation Ordered for Ex-Baseball Coach Marcus Sabo
The defense attorney for Marcus J. Sabo, 40, of Crystal Lake, requested a sex offender evaluation for his client, the Northwest Herald reports.
A sex offender evaluation has been ordered for Marcus J. Sabo, the 40-year-old Crystal Lake man charged in August with 60 counts of child pornography, the Northwest Hearld reports. Sabo is a former Babe Ruth Baseball coach (15-year-old division) in Crystal Lake.
Sabo was barred from coaching for the league upon his arrest. The Herald reports the criminal indictment against Sabo said he had pornographic photographs of underage males engaged in sex acts or posed in lewd positions. None of the boys in the photos are from the Babe Ruth League.
Sabo is being held at the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock on a $125,000 bond.
