The Cary Fire Protection District responded to a burning power line fire at 9:30 a.m. today at 714 Three Oaks Road, Cary, the Northwest Herald reports.
A passerby reported the flames. Fire officials said the fire looked worse than it was, and no one living near the line was in danger. Firefighters were waiting on ComEd to turn off the power before extinguishing the blaze, the Herald reports.
