Police Blotter: Theft, Harassment by Wire

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Crystal Lake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

THEFT

Abigail Diane Kroll, 19, 1370 Burke Lane, South Elgin, was charged Aug. 12 with two counts of burglary to a vehicle, two counts of theft and resisting a peace officer. She was turned over to McHenry County Sheriff’s Office with a court date to be set. 

James Dennis Zick, 38, 14411 Kishwaukee Valley Road, Woodstock, was charged Aug.8 with retail theft. He was turned over to McHenry County Sheriff’s Office with a court date to be set. 

A 16-year-old juvenile was charged Aug. 13 with retail theft and was released to a parent with a court date to be set. 

A 14-year-old juvenile was charged Aug. 13 with retail theft and was released to a parent with a court date to be set. 

Robert Paul Whitney, 26, 4317 W. Shamrock Lane, No. 1C, McHenry, was charged Aug. 15 with retail theft. He was turned over to McHenry County Sheriff’s Office with a court date to be set. 

Marta Milkowska, 18, 360 Harold St., Crystal Lake, was charged Aug. 15 with retail theft. She was released on $150 bond with a Sept. 20 court date.

Eric Harrison Dhein, 21, 451 Brandy Drive, Apartment C, Crystal Lake, was charged Aug. 17 with retail theft. He was released on $150 bond with a Sept. 22 court date. 

BATTERY

Victor Hugo Rodriguez, 26, 414 S. Oriole Trail, Crystal Lake, was charged Aug. 14 with domestic battery. He was turned over to McHenry County Sheriff’s Office with a court date to be set. 

Albert B. Popnick, 54, 938 Cambridge Lane, Crystal Lake, was charged Aug. 19 with two counts of domestic battery. He was turned over to McHenry County Sheriff’s Office with a court date to be set. 

OTHER 

James A. Brand, 29, 90 Pine Court, Crystal Lake, was charged Aug. 12 with harassment by wire. He was released on $150 bond with a Sept. 20 court date. 

Schyler Quintel  McGuirk, 28, 1433 W. Lunt Ave., Chicago, was charged Aug. 13 with criminal trespass to property. He was released on $150 bond with a Sept. 20 court date.

David Anthony Badillo, 26, 2521 N. Washtnaw Ave., Chicago, was charged Aug. 15 with criminal trespass to a residence. He was turned over to McHenry County Sheriff’s Office with a court date to be set.
