Police Blotter: Theft, Battery, Mob Action

Crystal Lake Police release reports from May 6-22.

An arrest does not equate to a conviction. An individual can only be convicted of a crime by a court of law.

THEFT

Bryan O’Halleran, 18, 982 Newberry Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested May 18 and charged with one count of a theft valued at less than $500. O’Halleran was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. June 19.

Joseph A. Sova, 30, 626 Knollwood Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested May 21 and charged with one count of retail theft. Sova posted bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. June 19.

Hector Leal, 34, 2002 Traceway Dr. 208, Fitchburg, Wis., was arrested May 21 and charged with two counts of theft of an item valued less than $500. Leal posted bond and is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. June 12.

A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested at 4 p.m. May 10 on one charge of theft under $500. The teen was released to parent.

BATTERY

Jason E. Watson, 27, 1133 Bosworth Ln., Elk Grove Village, was arrested May 20 and charged with one count of battery. Watson is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. June 12.

A 14-year-old juvenile was arrested at 2:52 a.m. May 6 on one charge of aggravated battery.

MOB ACTION

Debra M. Sieck, 51, 7545 W. Higgins Ave., Chicago, was arrested May 20 and charged with one count of mob action, one count of battery, and one count of resisting and obstructing a peace officer. Sieck posted bond and is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. June 19.

RECKLESS CONDUCT

Brandon C. Alexander, 18, 696 Blackthorn Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested May 22 and charged with one count of reckless conduct. Alexander posted bond and is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. July 3.
