Police Blotter: Theft and Alcohol Offenses

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Crystal Lake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination. 

ALCOHOL 

Orlando Gonzalez-Martinez, 30, 330 Lancaster Dr., Crystal Lake, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and without a valid driver’s license, failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, failure to give aid/information, operating an uninsured vehicle and improper lane usage on July 30. He was released on $300 bond and a Sept. 13 court date. 

Nicholas Matthew Knoeppel, 20, 935 Wheatland Dr., Crystal Lake, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor on July 30. He was released on a notice to appear and an Aug. 23 court date. 

Aubrey E. Grassly, 19, 1550 Skyridge Dr., #2, Crystal Lake, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor on July 30. He was released on a notice to appear and an Aug. 23 court date. 

Lauren Anne Whitman, 19, 1808 Somerfield Lane, Crystal Lake, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor on July 30. She was released on a notice to appear and an Aug. 23 court date. 

Kristopher M. Cherney, 20, 8904 N. Alto Vista, Crystal Lake, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor on July 30. He was released on a notice to appear and an Aug. 23 court date. 

Taylor L. Dostal, 19, 694 Exmoor Terr., Crystal Lake, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor on July 30. He was released on a notice to appear and an Aug. 23 court date. 

Stephen R. Dominici, 20, 332 Greenview Dr., , was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor on July 30. He was released on a notice to appear and an Aug. 23 court date. 

Daniel Anton Herdzina, 20, 755 Nottingham Lane, Crystal Lake, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor on July 30. He was released on a notice to appear and an Aug. 23 court date. 

Andrew J. Knodle, 19, 1395 Teakwood Lane, Crystal Lake, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor on July 30. He was released on a notice to appear and an Aug. 23 court date.

THEFT 

Hollyann C. Halvorson, 18, 1113 Dovercliff Way, , was charged with retail theft on Aug. 4 She was released on $150 bond and a Sept. 6 court date. 

A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with retail theft on Aug. 4 and released to a parent with a court date to be set. 

A 16-year-old juvenile was charged with retail theft on Aug. 5 and released to a parent with a court date to be set.
