Police Blotter: Theft and Alcohol Offenses

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Crystal Lake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination. 

ALCOHOL 

David James Rosinski, 23, 602 Spring Dr., Marengo, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and a blood alcohol level over .08, failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision, improper lane usage and operating an uninsured vehicle on July 17. He was released on $100 bond and his driver’s license. He was given an Aug. 23 court date.

Brandon P. Ready, 18, 710 Mason Lane, Lake in the Hills, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor on July 19. He was released on a notice to appear and a Sept. 6 court date. 

Scott Andrew Gascho, 19, 1203 Bennington Dr., Crystal Lake, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor on July 19. He was released on a notice to appear and a Sept. 6 court date.

A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor on July 19. The juvenile was released to a parent with an Aug. 12 court date.

THEFT 

Dora Maria Silva-Gonzalez, 37, 232 Crystal St., #1F, Cary, was charged with retail theft on July 14. She was released on $150 bond and an Aug. 9 court date. 

William Bernard Willetts, 60, 9455 Rainsford Dr., Huntley, was charged with retail theft on July 16. He was released on $150 bond and a Sept. 2 court date. 

Christopher V. Freund, 46, 8005 Blivin St., Spring Grove, was charged with retail theft on July 18. He was released on $150 bond and an Aug. 23 court date.
