Police Blotter: Drugs and Alcohol Offenses

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Crystal Lake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination. 

ALCOHOL 

Kelly Elizabeth Winzenried, 47, 17N227 Oak Ave., West Dundee, was chargd with driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood alcohol level over .08 and failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision on July 20. She was released on $100 bond and her driver’s license. She has an Aug. 23 court date. 

Russell Reid Schneider, 32, 2724 Grant Ct., Crystal Lake, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of cannabis, driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured vehicle, speeding and improper lane usage on July 25. He was released on $450 bond and an Aug. 16 court date. 

Ashley Joan Ferrante, 24, 507 S. 3rd St., Kirkland, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and a blood alcohol level over .08, failure to signal and two counts of improper lane usage on July 27. She was released on $100 bond and her driver’s license. She has an Aug. 16 court date. 

Raul Hernandez-Lopez, 26, 1382 Teakwood Lane, Crystal Lake, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol, driving without a valid driver’s license, disobeying traffic control devise and improper lane usage on July 27. He was released on $300 bond and a Sept. 13 court date. 

Randy S. Roewer, 30, 1821 Butterfield Road, Woodstock, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, improper backing and improper lane usage on July 27. He was released on $250 bond and his driver’s license. He has a Sept. 20 court date. 

A 16-year-old juvenile was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and with a blood alcohol level over .08, illegal transportation of alcohol and disobeying a stop sign on July 29. The juvenile was released to a parent with an Aug. 16 court date. 

Carlos Morales, 19, 122 W. Woodstock St., #2F, Crystal Lake, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor on July 30. He was released on $150 bond and an Aug. 23 court date.

DRUGS 

Cassidy Villarreal, 23, 15 S. Oriole Trail, Crystal Lake, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful use of a weapon on July 22. He was turned over to McHenry County Sheriff’s Office with a court date to be set. 

Wilbur W. Kemp, 45, 1105 Wheeler St., Woodstock, was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia on July 23. He was released on a notice to appear with a court date to be set. 

Bradley Daniel Boro, 26, 537 Parkside Terr., Crystal Lake, was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia on July 28. He was released on $150 bond and a Sept. 6 court date.
