Police Blotter: Drugs and Alcohol Arrests

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Crystal Lake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination. 

ALCOHOL 

Amber R. Koelling, 19, 711 W. Metzen St., Harvard, was charged wit h unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor on May 26. She was released with a notice to appear and a June 21 court date.

Alexander J. Borowitz, 18, 1230 Amberwood Dr., Crystal Lake, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and a blood alcohol level over .08, unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, illegal transportation of alcohol, unauthorized use of handicapped parking and illegal stopping/standing/parking on May 26. He was released on $450 bond and a June 21 court date. 

A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor on May 26 and released to a parent. A court date has yet to be set.

Laurie Ann McMillin, 40, 254 Indian Trail, Lake in the Hills, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and a blood alcohol level over .08 and operating an uninsured vehicle on May 27. She was released on $100 bond and her driver’s license. She has a July 12 court date. 

DRUGS 

A 16-year-old juvenile was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful delivery of cannabis on May 25. The juvenile was released to a parent with a court date to be set. 

Chad Robert Bardsley, 18, 375 Oriole Trail, Crystal Lake, was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia on May 25. He was released on $150 bond and a July 5 court date.
