Pickup Truck Fire on Route 14 in Woodstock Delays Traffic

Fire broke out in a pickup truck on Route 14 in Woodstock on Saturday afternoon.

A pickup truck became engulfed in flames at about 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, on Route 14 in Woodstock, causing traffic delays, the Northwest Herald reports.

The pickup truck was parked on Route 14 south of Kishwaukee Valley Road (just west of Emricson Park). Woodstock firefighters and police shut down Route 14 in both directions while fighting the blaze, according to the Northwest Herald story. No injuries were reported.
