One Dead From Gunshot Wound After Police Stakeout
The Northwest Herald is reporting that police were called to a Crystal Lake residence.
One person is dead from a gunshot wound after police were summoned to a residence Friday morning.
According to the Northwest Herald, officers donning bullet-proof vests surrounded a house at 203 Peterson Parkway after someone called around 10:30 a.m. reporting a person inside the residence who had a firearm.
Police were able to gain access to the residence just after 12:30 p.m. Friday. Cmdr. Dan Dziewior said the case is still under investigation and "an individual inside the residence is deceased."
