The Crystal Lake Police Department extiniguished a fire at 4313 Sands Road, near Three Oaks Road, on Crystal Lake's east side on Wednesday.
Officials do not know how an unused chicken coop caught fire at about 1 p.m. April 17, the Northwest Herald reports. The coop was located in the backyard, detached from the home, and the residents were not home at the time, the NWH article states.
