UPDATE: Motorcycle Victim From Sunday Crash Identified

Patrick J. Lulling, 54, of Arlington Heights, was killed Sunday afternoon following a collision in Woodstock.

Another motorcyclist has died as the result of a traffic collision in McHenry County.

The crash occurred Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Route 14 and Dean Street in Woodstock. 

The Northwest Herald is reporting the victim, Patrick J. Lulling, 54, of Arlington Heights, died after his motorcycle collided with a van at the intersection. Lulling was employed by the Arlington Heights Park District.

Glen L. Powers, driver of the van, was transported to Centegra Hospital in Woodstock for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. He was cited with failure to yield while turning left at an intersection, the Herald reports. 

Lulling, who joined the park district in 2000, was a general trades worker who did painting, cement and carpentry work for the park district, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Lulling was returning from a Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota, at the time of the accident and was not wearing a motorcycle helmet, according to the Chicago Tribune.
