Man Injured in Chainsaw Accident near Woodstock
Man injured Thursday afternoon in accident involving a chainsaw.
An unidentified man was flown by Flight for Life medical helicopter following a chainsaw accident Thursday in rural McHenry County, the Northwest Herald reports.
The Woodstock Fire Rescue District responded to the 2500 block of Greenwood Road, at about 1 p.m. to assist the man, who accidentally cut his leg just above the knee, the Herald reports. The cut was about 6 inches deep, and missed the major arteries. The man was expected to be released from the hospital Thursday evening.
