The driver in a single-vehicle crash Monday afternoon died at the scene, according to the Northwest Herald.
The accident happened at 4:42 p.m. when a car hit a tree and then started on fire in the 1100 block of Curran Road in McHenry, according to the article. The Northwest Herald reports the crash remains under investigation and the name of the victim is not being released pending notification of his family.
