LITH Looks For New Tenant at Horse Boarding Facility

The current tenant at the village-owned horse boarding facility told the Northwest Herald she could not get her business up and running.

The village of Lake in the Hills is once again look for someone to rent a horse boarding facility on Pyott Road after its current tenant gave notice that she will be leaving the barn, according to the Northwest Herald. 

Jennifer Valenti, manager of Dynasty Farms, told the Northwest Herald she was unable to get her business up and running at the village-owned facility and also said the barn is still in need of repairs, even after she stuck $25,000 into it

The village spent $50,000 to clean up the facility after the prior owner left it in disrepair and gave Valenti a discounted rent under the terms that she would continue to repair the facility, according to the Northwest Herald.
