LITH Police said a young white man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt approached the pharmacy counter at about 11:44 p.m. Jan. 10, at the Walgreens located at 100 N. Randall Rd., at the corner of Algonquin Road.
"A male walked up to the pharmacy counter, passed a note to the
employee with a list of demanded prescription medications. No weapon was seen or implied," a LITH Police news release stated.
The man is described as:
- About 20 years old,
- 5 feet 10 inches tall
- Thin build
- Wearing a black hooded style sweatshirt, black pants, brown boots, with a black scarf or mask covering his face which only exposed his eyes and part of his forehead.
- His forehead is described as being pitted and covered in acne.
No drugs were given to the suspect, who then fled on foot.
