Firefighters Battling Blaze on Hillside Road in Crystal Lake

Firefighters battling a second alarm fire at 7818 W. Hillside Road on the north side of Crystal Lake.

Fire officials are battling an attic fire in a home at 7818 W. Hillside Road, north of Crystal Lake, according to an emergency dispatch notice.
The fire broke out at a two story home located just west of Oak Ridge Road. The dispatch was sent at 5:56 p.m. Wednesday, April 10.
As of 7:30 p.m. McHenry County Sheriff's police had blocked Hillside Road to through traffic from both directions. The roadblock started just west of Oak Ridge Road and extended past the location of the house on fire.
Fire trucks were still on the scene.
