Eight Sent to Hospital Following South Barrington Crash

South Barrington police are investigating what caused the crash, according to media reports.

A three-car accident near Barrington and Algonquin roads in South Barrington sent eight people to area hospitals Sunday afternoon, according to the Daily Herald. 

The most seriously injured patient went to a level-one trauma center following the crash at 1:40 p.m. while the other patients were taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates and Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, according to the article.
