Drug Warrant Roundup Nets 8 Arrests

McHenry County Sheriff's Office arrests eight on outstanding drug warrants.

Eight people across McHenry County were arrested today on outstanding drug warrants.

The announced that the arrests were apart of a one-day roundup in an effort to address the selling and use of heroin in the county.

  1. Durrelle J. Hall, 20, of Lake in the Hills was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.
  2. Scott L. Johnson, 25, of Lake in the Hills was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
  3. Daniel G. Rivera, 19, of Wonder Lake was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.
  4. Michael J. Novak, 27, of McHenry was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.
  5. Ronald M. Bianchi, 18, of Wonder Lake was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.
  6. Stephanie T. Kuhl, 53, of McHenry was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.
  7. Joseph W. Crisara, 24, of Island Lake was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.
  8. Dana M. Connelly, 19, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.

The operation began early Friday morning and all of the warrants served were for felony and misdemeanor drug crimes. According to the sheriff's office, several additional "on-view" drug arrests were made during the service of the warrants.

According to the sheriff's office, Sheriff's Narcotics Investigators conducted several drug investigations which brought arrest warrants being obtained for unlawful delivery and possession of a controlled substance.

Sheriff's Deputies and Investigators, along with members of the United States Marshal Fugitive Task Force, planned and executed the operation.

Additional arrests and charges are pending in some cases and further investigations may continue, according to the sheriff's office.
