Dirt Biker Airlifted after Crash in Crystal Lake
Biker was transported by helicopter for treatment, police said.
A dirt bike rider in need of immediate medical care was airlifted on Saturday evening by helicopter, according to area police and dispatch alerts.
An emergency alert issued at 6:25 p.m. stated a "motorcycle had collided with a fence" near Nunda Trail and Terra Cotta Road, just outside the Crystal Lake city limits.
Crystal Lake Police assisted McHenry County Sheriff's officers with road closures in the area to allow for the helicopter transport.

Crystal Lake Police had no further information about the accident, or the condition of the victim, since the accident occured within the county's jurisdiction.
The McHenry County Sheriff's Office had no additional information available by late Saturday night.
