Crystal Lake Police Arrest Several People for Retail Theft, Battery

Crystal Lake Police release arrest reports through July 12, 2013.

The following information was obtained from the Crystal Lake Police Department arrest reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

Retail Theft

Trenton S. Johnson,  20, of the 1300 block of Amberwood Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested June 25, and charged with retail theft and possession of liquor by a minor in a public place. 

Police said Johnson stole bottles of liquor from Walmart, 1205 S. Route 31, Crystal Lake, had the bottles in his possession and gave some of the alcohol to other minors. Johnson posted $150 for bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 13.

Maulene R. Wilson, 24, of the 200 block of S. Bueshing Rd., Lake Zurich, was arrested June 27, and charged with retail theft. Police said Wilson took miscellaneous merchandise from Walmart, 1205 S. Route 31, Crystal Lake. Bond was set at $1,500, 10 percent applies. Wilson was scheduled to appear in court July 16.

Latoya S. Ingram, 18, of the 2900 block of Augusta, Chicago, was with Wilson. She was also charged with retail theft. Police said Ingram also took miscellaneous items from Walmart, 1205 S. Route 31, Crystal Lake.

Deanne Jo Desparte, 49, of the 600 block of Regent Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested July 3, and charged with retail theft. Police said Desparte stole a bottle of liquor from Dominick's, 5340 Route 14, Crystal Lake. She posted $160.50 for bond and was released. She was scheduled to appear in court July 23.

Nicole D. Williams, 29, of the 200 block of Elmhurst St., Crystal Lake, was arrested June 2, and charged with retail theft. She posted 10 percent of a $1,500 bond and was released. She was scheduled to appear in court July 16. 

Taylor L. Arvidson, 21, of the 1200 block of Birch St., Lake in the Hills, was arrested June 4, and charged with retail theft. Bond was set at $1,500, 10 percent applies. She was scheduled to appear in court July 9. 

Haley E. Calzaretta, 20, of the 300 block of Oakmont Dr., Cary, was arrested May 21 and was charged with retail theft. Bond was set at $1,500, 10 percent applies. She was scheduled to appear in court June 25. 

Corinne D. Egan, 23, of the 1500 block of Crabtree Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested May 24, and charged with retail theft. Bond was set at $1,500, 10 percent applies. She was scheduled to appear in court June 16. 


Burglary, Retail Theft 

Robert P. Gillhooly, 32, last known address of the 600 block of Nantucket Way, Island Lake, was arrested July 1, and charged with burglary and retail theft. Police said Gillhooly stole hair care products from Dominick's, 5340 Route 14, Crystal Lake. Gillhooly was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock, where he was awaiting bond and a court date. 

Jonathan M. Kircher, 20, of the 1300 Clayton Marsh Dr., Lake in the Hills, was arrested May 22, and charged with burglary. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock, where he was awaiting bond and a court date. 

Battery

William T. Leistritz, of the 20 block of Ester, Crystal Lake, was arrested June 11, and charged with aggravated battery/ causing great bodily harm. Leistritz was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock, where he was awaiting bond and a court date. 

Kevin P. Johnson, 22, of the 20 block of Green Oaks, Crystal Lake, was arrested June 28, and was arrested June 28 and charged with domestic battery/ physical contact and interfering with a domestic violence report. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail, where he was awaiting bond and a court date. 

Disorderly Conduct

Clarence De Mario Young, 32, of the 400 block of Buckingham Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested July 5, and charged with disorderly conduct/ false report of an offense. Young was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock, where he was awaiting bond and a court date. 

Interfering with Domestic Violence Report

Jeffrey S. Rothermel, 31, of the 1500 block of Crabtree Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested July 5, and charged with interfering with a domestic violence report. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock, where he was awaiting bond and a court date.
