Crystal Lake Police Reports: Purse Stolen, Retail Theft, Outstanding Arrest Warrants

Crystal Lake Police release reports for June 30, to July 29, 2012.

 

Note: An arrest does not constitute a conviction. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

 

Theft

Jesus S. Medina, 43, 4816 Saggers Ln., Crystal Lake, and Clara I. Melendez, 31, of the same address, were arrested July 10, on McHenry County Sheriff's Office warrants for misdemeanor theft.

Each posted a $150 bond and was released. Police said Medina and Melendez allegedly took a purse out of a shopping cart at  1205 S. Route 31, Crystal Lake. The purse was eventually recovered. Medina and Melendez are awaiting a court date.

 

Retail Theft

Brett M. Jurgens, 25, 331 Van Buren St., Crystal Lake, was arrested July 10, and charged with one count of retail theft valued under $300. Police said Jurgens allegedly attempted to steal a bottle of Hagemeister from , 1205 S. Route 31, Crystal Lake. Jurgens posted $150 bond and was released. He was scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Aug.7. 

 

Interference with Domestic Violence Report

Geoffrey M. Knoerzer, 42, 773 Windsor Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested July 11, and charged with one count of interfering with a domestic violence report. Bond was set at $1,500. Knoerzer posted bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 21.

 

DUI

Raul Rojas-Meza, 35, 25 Faringdon Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested July 1, and charged with one count of driving under the influence of alcohol, one count of driving under the influence of alcohol BAC .08, one count of having a drivers license that expired more than six months ago, and one count of having a defective muffler. Bond was set at $3,000. He is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 21.  

 

Outstanding Arrest Warrants

Joab T. Butler, 19, 39683 S. Horse Run R., Tucson, Ariz., was arrested July 12, on an outstanding in-state warrant for failure to appear in court to face charges of domestic battery, criminal damage to property and possession of cannabis. Bond was set at $19,075. Butler posted 10 percent of his bond, $1,975, and was released.  He is scheduled to appear in DuPage County Court on Aug. 13, 14 and 15.

Jonathon J. Pawlak, 29, 784 Regency Park, Crystal Lake, was arrested July 12, on a McHenry County warrant for one count of manufacturing/delivering between 10 to 30 grams of marijuana, one count possession of 10 to 30 grams marijuana, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, and one count fleeing/ attempting to elude police. Pawlak posted 10 percent of the $11,500 bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 14.

Delio Rivera, 37, 360 McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake, was arrested July 12, on an outstanding McHenry County Sheriff's Office warrant for driving while license suspended and contempt of court. Rivera was charged with two counts of in-state bond forfeiture warrant and one count of resisting/ obstructing an officer. Rivera was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office. Bonds were set at $5,000, $500 and $1,500 per the various charges. Rivera was awaiting a court date.

Rebecca J. Hansen, 47, 785 Silk Oak Ln., Crystal Lake, was arrested July 15 on a McHenry County Sheriff's Office warrant for contempt of court. Bond was set at $1,000.

Denise R. Lynch, 38, 502 London Trail, McHenry, was arrested July 18, on a CLPD warrant for one count of unlawful acquisition of a controlled substance. Lynch posted 10 percent of a $10,000 bond and was released. She is scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. Aug. 14.
