Crystal Lake Police Investigating Fight Between 2 Homeless People
Fight between two homeless people left both subjects injured, police said.
Crystal Lake Police are investigating a fight that occurred Tuesday evening in the vacant field behind Jewel Food Store, 6140 Route 14.
Several police and rescue vehicles responded to the scene at about 6:30 p.m. The field is adjacent to Teckler Boulevard and near the Immanuel Lutheran Church and School, 300 S. Pathway.
"We are investigating a battery that occurred between two homeless subjects. Both were injured in the incident," Dziewior said.
No charges had been filed as of Tuesday evening while the battery was under investigation.
