Crystal Lake Police Arrests: Underage Drinking and DUIs

Note: The following information was obtained from Crystal Lake Police arrest reports. An arrest is only an accusation is does not constitute a conviction. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

Underage Drinking

Michele K. McRae, 18, 829 Royal Glen Dr., Cary, was arrested Nov. 30, and charged with illegal possession/ consumption of alcohol by a minor. McRae was scheduled to appear in court Jan. 10.

Andrew Calderon, 20, 223 Uteg St. A, Crystal Lake, was arrested Dec. 3, and charged with illegal possesion/ consumption of alcohol by a minor. Calderon is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 22.

Jordan P. Carmody, 19, 4201 Jacqueline Ln., Crystal Lake, was arrested Nov. 30, and charged with one count of illegal possession/ consumption of alcohol by a minor. Carmody was scheduled to appear in court Jan. 10.

DUI

Cody M. Buscaglia, 18, 1622 Conway Circle, McHenry, was arrested Dec. 22, and charged with driving under the influence of drugs and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Buscaglia was transported to the McHenry County Jail. Bond was set at $4,500. He was scheduled to appear in court Jan. 15.

Daniel C. Philpot, 24, 246 Lincolnshire Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested Dec. 22, and charged with one count of driving under the influence of alcohol and one count DUI with a blood-alcohol level of .08. Philpot posted 10 percent of a $3,000 bond and was released. He was scheduled to appear in court Jan. 15.

Patricia J. Swiderski, 51, 638 Kendallwood Ct., Crystal Lake, was arrested Dec. 24, and charged with one count of driving under the influence of alcohol, one count of DUI with a blood-alcohol level of .08 and one count of leaving the scene of an accident. Swiderski posted $100 and a drivers license for bond and was released. She is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 5.

Luis A. Ruiz, 28, 1507 Washington St., Lake in the Hills, was arrested Dec. 29, and charged with one count of driving under the influence of alcohol, one count failure to yield at an intersection. Ruiz posted bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 22.
