Endangering the Life & Health of a Child
Susan R. Loring, 49, 726 Juniper Ln., Crystal Lake, was arrested on an outstanding McHenry County Sheriff's warrant for endangering the life/ health of a child.

Police said Loring failed to properly supervise a child under her charge. The boy was riding his bicycle along a busy street when a concerned citizen alerted police. The boy was not injured. Loring posted $150 bond and was released. She is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 25.
Retail Theft from Jewel/ Possession of Alcohol by Minor
Edward J. Marrs, 19, 4624 Courtney Dr., Lake in the Hills, was arrested Aug. 9 and charged with one count of possession/ consumption of alcohol by a minor and one count retail theft.
Police said Marrs stole a bottle of whiskey valued at $25 from , 6140 Route 14, Crystal Lake. Marrs posted 10 percent of a $1,500 bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 18.
Retail Theft from Walmart
Casey T. Allard, 18, 711 Dartmouth Dr., Island Lake, was arrested Aug. 10, and charged with one count of retail theft.
Police said Allard stole a number of items valued at $113 from , 1205 S. Route 31, Crystal Lake. Allard posted 10 percent of a $1,500 bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 11
