Crystal Lake Police Blotter: Marijuana, Battery, Juvenile Arrests

Crystal Lake Police release reports from Oct. 24 to 29, 2012.

Hit and Run

Ivan M. Urbina, 40, 254 Crystal Street 1, Cary, was arrested Oct. 25, and charged with one count of leaving the scene of an accident involving vehicle damage, one count of failure to give information/ render aid, and one count failure to reduce speed. Urbina posted 10 percent of the $1,500 bond and was released. Urbina was scheduled to appear in court Nov. 20.

Manufacturing/ Delivery of Marijuana

John A. Gaida, 18, 105 Crystal Lake A, Crystal Lake, was arrested Oct. 26, and charged with one count of manufacturing/ delivery between 30 to 500 grams cannabis, one count possession between 30 to 500 grams cannabis, and one count possession of drug paraphernalia. Gaida was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock, where he was awaiting bond and a court date.

Blair N. Gaida, 23, 105 Crystal Lake A, Crystal Lake, was arrested Oct. 26, and charged with one count of manufacturing/ delivery between 30 to 500 grams of cannabis, one count of possession between 30 to 500 grams of cannabis, and one count possession drug paraphernalia. Gaida was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock, and was awaiting bond and a court date.

 

Battery or Assault

Joseph E. Krachman, 56, 1108 W. May Ave., Johnsburg, was arrested Oct. 28, and charged with one count of battery/ making physical contact. Krachman was transported to the McHenry County Jail. Bond was set at 10 percent of $1,500. Krachman was scheduled to appear in court Nov. 20.

Autumn S. Goffinet, 33, 956 Nottingham Ln., Crystal Lake, was arrested Oct. 29, and charged with one count assault, and one count possession of controlled substance. Goffinet posted $150 and was released. Goffinet is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 11.

 

Juvenile Police Reports

A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested Oct. 24, and cahrged with one count of possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis and one count of a minor possessing any form of tobacco. The juvenile was released to parents, and was awaiting a court date.

A 15-year-old juvenile was arrested Oct. 27, and charged with one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. The juvenile, who was released to parents, was awaiting a court date.

A 15-year-old juvenile was arrested Oct. 27, and charged with one count of possession of drug paraphernlia. The juvenile, released to the mother, has been petitioned to appear in court.

A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested Oct. 28, and charged with one count of having no drivers license - never having been issued a license. The teen was released to a relative. Bond was set at 10 percent of $1,500. The juvenile was scheduled to appear in court Nov. 20. 

 

Unlicensed or Uninsured Driver

Victor C. Ruiz, 41, 122 W. Woodstock St. 3H, Crystal Lake, was arrested Oct. 27, and charged with one count of operating an uninsured motor vehicle and one count of having no drivers license- never having been issued a license. Ruiz posted $150 bond and was released. Ruiz is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 11.

Geovany Esquivel, 19, 162 W. Woodstock St., Unit B, Crystal Lake, was arrested Oct. 26, and charged with driving- never having been issued a drivers license. Esquivel posted 10 percent of a $1,500 bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 11.
